Estes Express Lines Analyst, CRM Automation & Process Improvement in Richmond, Virginia

Job Summary:

The CRM Automation and Process Improvement Analyst will provide new process and CRM design ideas and application support to the business as well as assisting the CRM project team in providing custom solutions to our CRM platform. This position will work closely with subject matter experts, users and the CRM Agile Project Team as a product owner to support the daily utilization of Salesforce (SF). The Analyst will make recommendations and configure the application to meet the requirements of the business within Sales and Service. This role is a combination of project manager and administrator with delegated SF Administrator access.

  • Document business process requirements; issues; root cause analyses; identified problems; resolutions and resulting outcomes of implementations

  • Responsible for data analysis, maintenance and reporting on potential issues and improvements to Sales and Business processes.

  • Envisions, Designs, and Creates automated work flows and processes in Salesforce

  • Creates ad-hoc and routine reports to perform root-cause analyses, measure effectiveness against metrics and provide recommendations for continuous improvement. Collaborates with Director to implement and follow up.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders internal and external to Estes to ensure problem resolutions and long-term solutions implemented result in the desired outcome. Follow up to ensure a high degree of customer and business satisfaction

  • Provide day-to-day end-user second level support for Salesforce Users and perform all basic administrative functions, e.g., user account maintenance, workflows, etc.

  • Maintain application for data integrity, accuracy and overall cleanliness

  • Support and coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests and perform routine testing and develop release plans. Review new user features with key stakeholders

  • Train new users and grow the CRM/Salesforce.com skill set across the organization

  • Assist CRM Project team in configuration and maintenance of custom objects, record types, fields, page layouts, data validation rules, processes, custom workflows, application extensions, integrations, etc.

  • Regular attendance is required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background

  • 3 years of process improvement/automation experience required

  • Excellent project management skills required. Agile experience preferred.

  • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption required

  • Strong verbal, listening, written and presentation skills required

  • Ability to think conceptually and interpret data to generate meaningful information

  • Expert level proficiency in Excel (Pivot tables, Macro development), Access and SQL preferred

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, strong innovation and problem solving skills preferred

  • Good understanding of the platform, with the ability to support and build custom apps and objects, formula fields and workflows on the Salesforce platform, preferred

  • Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization

  • Must be able to lift approximately 20 lbs., or more if required by the essential functions of the job

  • Must be able to comply with all company policies, rules, procedures and Code of Conduct

  • Must be able to interact well with others

  • Must be able to work independently, or in a team setting

  • Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high volume environment with multiple priorities

  • Responds well to questions; Ability to read, interpret and comply with written information and documents such as safety rules, operations / procedure manuals and maintenance instructions with a high comprehension and concentration level to include the ability to meet deadlines

  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, random drug and/or alcohol tests, and will be subject to a criminal history background check

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
